Everyone’s got an angle

I left my hometown nearly 25 years ago. I still visit because my family is here. As you may imagine, the place has undergone significant change in that time. I suspect I notice it even more than the locals because the changes are much less gradual to an occasional visitor like me.

So there I was last week, making a quick call from the parking lot of a drugstore I had just visited. As I talked, I noticed an oddly named business that I had never seen before. I believe it’s a restaurant, but as you can see, it’s hard to be certain by its name!

I didn’t go in.

I would have totally gone in. I once ate at a Thai place because the reviews talked about how amazingly rude the owners were. They were and it made me laugh the whole time.
