I went to the grocery store during my lunch break. I picked up a few things and headed for the express check-out. It seemed to be clear with a woman loading her shopping cart before leaving. The cashier took a few items from her and came back to the cash register. Apparently, she’d forgotten a few things and nearly walked out without paying for them.

I heard her say, clearly thinking out loud, “Imagine if I were arrested? My husband would kill me.”
