The Telegraph article, “Men lose their minds speaking to pretty women” reports on a study:
…research shows men who spend even a few minutes in the company of an attractive woman perform less well in tests designed to measure brain function than those who chat to someone they do not find attractive.
I’m thinking the study was run by women because men already know this. Wait, women know this fact even better than men!
The article ventured further into the obvious:
This may be simply because men are programmed by evolution to think more about mating opportunities.

We are all born with a finite blood capacity. Unfortunately, men have a harder time controlling where the blood gets directed. Gravity is also a real issue here. Once the blood is directed to move to lower parts of the body, it is extremely hard to move it all back to the top.
