It seems some people have made the switch away from physical media for their music. Pictured here is the 2008 Alpine iDA-X300 head unit. It has no CD player and is designed to function with an iPod. It also has a USB input to play music from any handy flash drive. It should be released this month for $200 US. What I’d like to know is where the time goes. I still remember when CDs were the shiny new thing!
