According to tampabay.com, the Florida senate adopted a new personalized license plate design after more than an hour of debate, without even seeing the design. Here it is, for your viewing pleasure:

Some are in a huff about the separation of church and state, though I’m not sure that really applies here. It’s not like you have to use this plate. And thank goodness. It would go well with a velvet painting of Elvis.

Wait until a proposal is put forth to have a plate depicting another religion. It’s bound to happen, and I suspect it won’t be pretty.

And look! Jesus shaves his armpits. Who knew? He’s also looking a little blue.
