New greenery

Spring brings with it new leaves!

And the sky isn’t the result of special effects. Rather, it’s lightning behind the clouds. The photo was taken after 10pm so absent the happy lightning coincidence, the sky would otherwise be black.

Winter wonderland

It snowed for at least eight hours today and the result was a winter wonderland. There should have been more accumulation but the snow was wet and the temperature hovered just above freezing for much of the day. As long as you were wearing water-resistant footwear and you didn’t mind getting your face wet, it was a lovely day to be outside.
