It made me cold just looking at them!

Finally, it’s beginning to look seasonal outside!
And yea, I thought I could get away with shooting through a screen with a large aperture and not have the screen appear. I was wrong. Live and learn, right?
It’s snowing today and quite lovely outside. My feeling this way is no doubt influenced by the fact that I don’t have to go outside.

I took a detour through my building’s parking garage this evening. I was walking back from the corner store, trying to avoid all the water on the sidewalk.
I noted that a car in the garage was plugged in. It wasn’t an electric car. It had a block heater. I figure the driver has only recently arrived in Canada, or perhaps he or she is just visiting.
How did I come to this conclusion? Elementary! No one I know would plug in their car when the temperature is 4°, and the night-time low is forecast to be 0°!

It snowed for at least eight hours today and the result was a winter wonderland. There should have been more accumulation but the snow was wet and the temperature hovered just above freezing for much of the day. As long as you were wearing water-resistant footwear and you didn’t mind getting your face wet, it was a lovely day to be outside.
