To the people who make Without a Trace: hello, we’re not stupid.
You can’t fake snow by using foam, at least in the foreground with the actors walking through it. Sure foam and snow are both white, but the similarity ends there. They don’t look the same and they certainly do not behave even remotely the same. I’m guessing you’re from California or Florida, right? Am I close?
Next time dispense with the fake snow entirely and have the actors act cold and comment on how cold it is in the mountains. This would be a whole lot more realistic than making it look like a washing machine went nuts just off camera.
